Vaely tells a small business when its cash runs out, why, and the one move that fixes it — from live bank data, not spreadsheets. The product is built and running; what it needs now is distribution. Two ways forward: an acquisition (code, brand, infrastructure, hand-over), or a pre-seed partner to take it to market.
Product
13 modules: Treasury (cash runway, 13-week forecast, payroll-risk alerts), Payroll, Vendors, Contracts, Intelligence (Claude-powered), Compliance, TaxSense, Audit trail, Team, Integrations — one workspace per company, multi-entity ready.
Integrations
Plaid (bank, read-only), Stripe Financial Connections, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Stripe Billing, web push, email alerts. Claude Opus / Sonnet for OCR and analysis.
Stack
Next.js 14 (App Router) on Vercel · Supabase Postgres with row-level security and per-workspace scoping · TOTP 2FA · PostHog analytics · Upstash rate limiting.
Security
RLS on every table, server-side auth on every route, MFA (AAL2) for destructive actions, Zod validation on inputs, anonymous demo isolated from paid endpoints, audit log.
Stage
Pre-revenue, pre-launch. Fully deployed and demo-able today. Built solo by the founder over 2026; no outside capital raised.
Run cost
Under $100/month at current usage (Vercel + Supabase + Plaid sandbox + Claude API). No headcount.
Wedge
US trucking companies and contractors with $1M–$15M revenue and lumpy cash. The generic "financial OS" lane is owned by AI accounting for startups (Puzzle: free under $20K, paid from $25/mo, $50M raised) on one side and by Xero’s built-in 30–180-day forecast on the other. The trucking lane is not: Rigbooks (~$19/mo) and TruckLogics (from $39.95/mo) do IFTA and cost-per-mile but have no cash forecast and no payroll-risk alert. Vaely already ships a trucking preset and the demo company is a Louisville carrier.
Positioning we recommend
Sell it as "cash runway for carriers": IFTA + cost-per-mile + 13-week cash forecast + payroll alert on one screen at $29–49/mo, distributed through factoring companies and fuel-card programs that already talk to every small fleet.
No paying customers yet — the founder built this while running a trucking business and has not had the bandwidth to sell it. That is the whole pitch: the expensive part (an integrated, secured, multi-tenant product with live bank and accounting data) is done; the missing part is a team or an owner who can put it in front of 10,000 SMBs. Walk through the demo with a skeptical eye; it is the same code a customer would use.
